Please help.. according to rights in Belgium, if an employee enters a short-term contract, finishes her contract and has a baby, how long does she have a right to return to work, if any?

Hi, I am 25 with a Belgian ID, and UK passport. 20 months ago I left Belgium as I was unemployed. I found work outside of the EU. I came back to Belgian last Friday.
Last October I sent in my tax return (for the year 2011). So far I have not received any acknowledgement or tax assessment. I thought I would get it by June.
Can anyone remind me: what are the conditions one has to meet to be eligible for chomage - is it 18 months continuous employment?
