Question

Hi All

Not sure if this is a scam!

Has anybody 55 year old (or older) British expat signed up for Abbey Wealth pension https://www.abbeywealth.com/free-pension-review-taboola?utm_source=taboo... ?

It is probably not a scam, but beware!
Abbey Wealth use several aliases.
You will be redirected to their Financial advisors in southern spain.
They are OK, but before you decide get more independent advice from several other IFAs, or recomendations from friends.

Just my opinion, but until the Brexit negotiations are over and implemented and until everybody knows what the (no doubt detrimental) consequences will be for pensions, you would be daft to think about trusting your UK pension fund to an unregulated company in Spain.

These posts are a few years old now, but my advice still holds true.

In really simple terms; please think extremely carefully before you take any decisions.

Forget about Abbey Wealth and similar off-shore 'investment consultants'!!
All they are interested in is collecting premiums by investing your pension or savings. The focus is on their premiums and not on your wealth. Do not be fooled by the 'free service' they offer, there is no such thing as free lunch, especially not in the finance industry. Find yourself an UK regulated, fee based financial consultant.
