CHS 50km Challenge: Join walk on 16 October and raise funds for English-language helpline

The CHS Community Help Service - a lifeline for the international community in Belgium - is organising a second 50km Challenge on Sunday 16 October.

Stepping up its money-raising initiatives, the mental health centre and 24/7 helpline is gathering pledges for sponsored kilometres from friends and supporters. They are invited to walk their own 40-50km routes during the week leading up to the 16th, before joining the CHS for the final effort in either a 5km and 10km walk.

Walkers will set off from the CHS office at 14.00 and hike through the neighbouring Bois de la Cambre. They’ll be rewarded afterwards with tea and cake served in the CHS garden.

All funds raised will support the 24/7 English-speaking helpline, which is reliant on donations to continue its free service.
