British Royal Family to visit Belgium this summer

The UK’s Prince William and Princess Kate plan to visit Belgium in August this year, as part of the First World War commemorations. The couple, accompanied by Prince Harry, will make an appearance during a ceremony at the military cemetery of St. Symphorien near Mons.

According to The Sunday Times, the visit represents one of the most important tasks that the royal couple will have to perform. There are expected to be many important world leaders present at the commemoration ceremony in Mons.

According to the First World War memorial site of the Belgian government, Mons is where the first British soldier was killed during the war.
