Belgian pro footballers to visit Molenbeek youth

A delegation of professional football players on Thursday will visit the Maritime community centre in the Brussels commune of Molenbeek to meet with young aspiring players in an initiative of Football is my Dream. The organisation aims to bring the youth in contact with professional clubs, writes Brusselnieuws.

A large majority of RSC Anderlecht players will be present, according to Football is my Dream founder Ernest Eboué. In addition, a number of other important people from the football world have confirmed their presence, including Eric Gerets (former Red Devil), Louis Saha (French former international), William Dutoit (Sint-Truiden goalkeeper), Pelé Mboyo (former Red Devil) and Sébastien Siani (captain of KV Oostende, pictured).

After the meeting in Molenbeek, the pro footballers will accompany the youth to Place de la Bourse in Brussels city centre. “We will lay a wreath as a tribute to the victims of the attacks on 22 March," said Eboué.
