Win tickets to Brussels Muzieque flute, cello and piano concert on 27 April

Classical music collaborative Brussels Muzieque stages a special concert showcasing the exquisite combination of flute, cello and piano at Full Circle on 27 April.

At the heart of this less common yet wonderfully expressive ensemble recital is Felix Mendelssohn’s beloved Piano Trio in D minor, Op. 49, presented in a rarely performed arrangement for flute.

This version, believed to have been authorised by Mendelssohn himself, transforms the violin’s voice into the lyrical tones of the flute, offering a fresh perspective on this Romantic masterpiece.

Paired with Mendelssohn’s trio is Bohuslav Martinů’s dazzling Trio for Flute, Cello, and Piano, a vibrant work that weaves folk-inspired rhythms with intricate harmonies and dynamic interplay among the instruments. Together, these pieces create a programme that highlights the remarkable versatility and emotional depth of this intimate chamber music setting.

The concert will be brought to life by the talented musicians Matteo Del Monte (flute), Kacper Nowak (cello), and Monika Dars (piano). Together, they offer a unique opportunity to explore the beauty and charm of this exceptional repertoire at Brussels Muzieque.
