Where can I ski in Belgium? These resorts have just reopened

09:35 10/01/2022

Who says you cannot ski in Belgium? The recent cold snap means seven cross-country ski centres in East Belgium are now open for business, after about 15cm of snow settled over the weekend.

Cross-country and downhill ski routes can normally be found in the provinces of Liège, Luxembourg and Hainaut - but for now the snow is concentrated around the eastern parts of Liège province.

The following resorts are currently open, with a limited number of marked cross-country skiing trails on offer:

  • Signal de Botrange
  • Mont Spinette
  • Herzebösch
  • Worriken
  • Losheimergraben
  • Mont Spinette
  • Ovifat

At Mont Spinette, in addition to cross-country skiing, winter sport enthusiasts can also snowblade.

Check the East Belgium tourist office for the latest updates.
