UCLouvain seeks expats in Belgium for coronavirus survey

22:10 07/12/2020

Researchers from UCLouvain are appealing for Bulletin readers' help with a short survey about the coronavirus situation in Belgium.

The study looks at our perception of risk and our adherence to the current coronavirus measures.

The researchers are specifically looking for expats who are non-Belgian EU citizens, currently living in Belgium, and who work for (or have worked for) the European institutions or another organisation associated with the EU in Brussels.

"We already carried out a survey on a national scale, however it only targeted Belgian citizens," say the researchers, from UCLouvain's Centre for Research on the Epidemiology of Disasters.

"We have now created an English version, so that we can include expats at the EU, which we consider to be an important group to complement the current research sample. By including this specific group to our sample, the research will be more representative of people in Belgium."

The survey takes about 15 minutes to complete and can be found at this link.
