Two new office towers on the way in Brussels North quarter

11:29 09/10/2016

The Brussels North office quarter will acquire at least two new high-rise towers by 2020, writes Bruzz. The 'Möbius' project, an Immobel development, includes a new office complex with rounded towers, one of which has already been sold to German insurer Allianz. The company will move from its current Brussels headquarters at Place de Brouckère.

The construction of the brand-new building should start in the second half of 2017 and result in a passive, environmentally friendly office complex with high-end technical installations. One tower will have 18 floors, and the other 24, which is about 90m high.

"We finally decided to demolish and build something completely new," said Nicolas Billen of Immobel. “We already applied for planning permission in March this year, which we hope to have by June 2017. And then we can start building."
