Think you know how to recycle in Brussels? Take our quick survey

18:33 27/11/2019

It's estimated that every inhabitant of the Brussels-Capital Region produces on average 1kg of waste a day. Multiply this by the 1.2 million people living in Brussels in 2017, and you’re left with an awful lot of rubbish.

Recycling and reducing the amount we waste is clearly important. But it can be confusing. What can go in the blue bag? Where should you take cooking oil, batteries or household appliances to be safely disposed of?

The Bulletin has teamed up with Brussels Environment to research recycling habits among the city's international community.

We are interested in finding out about how and what you recycle. That's why we're asking for five minutes of your time to fill out a short survey in English.

Your ideas are very important and will help the authorities make Brussels a cleaner place to live. The survey can be found here.

Thanks in advance!
