Stromae needs a break from music
Brussels hip-hop and electronic music star Stromae is thinking about taking some time off from the music industry, in order to go back to living “a normal life”.
Stromae, born Paul Van Haver, was launched into international stardom just two years ago, but the Belgian singer-songwriter has recently announced his desire to take a step back.
"I would like to quit for three or four years. The success of my album Racine Carrée was so great that now I really need to try to lead a normal life again. I definitely still want to make music, but not before I've rested for a few years," Stromae told Complex magazine.
