Seven Belgian breweries worth visiting, according to CNN

Belgium is known worldwide for its beers, a fact that did not go unnoticed by the American news broadcaster CNN, which published a list of the country's best breweries on its website.

The article, Best brewery tours in Belgium for beer lovers, begins by touting Belgium's more than 800-year brewing history. “Belgian breweries' time-honored methods produce outstanding beer, but they're not always equipped to welcome curious visitors,” it reads. “But these seven breweries are more than ready to welcome you on your next trip.”

The seven breweries selected by CNN are Cantillon in Anderlecht, De Halve Maan in Bruges, De Koninck in Antwerp, Duvel in Puurs, Het Anker in Mechelen, St. Bernardus in Watou and St. Feuillien in Le Roeulx.
