Season 14 at Full Circle: Discover what’s coming up in the club’s eclectic programme

Full Circle season launch 14 - Brussels
01:16 04/09/2026

Forget January — Autumn is when things really begin. As summer winds down, we're already excited about catching up with friends, talking about brilliant ideas, hatching new plans, and diving into new experiences.

And the good news is you can do all this and more at Full Circle. Here's a taste of what's to come, but you'll need to join us at the Season Launch for the full programme reveal.

Ideas Festival, 20–22 November: Connection

The heart of our season is the Brussels Ideas Festival, three days built around one big question. This year we ask: what does it mean to live together in a world that feels like it's pulling apart? Expect our signature Salon talks, smaller intimate conversations, and — as always — the unexpected chats that end up being the best part of the event. If you're a budding writer or artist, join the writing contest or the art show.

Salons that go deeper

Our flagship Salons return on 22 September with author and researcher Sarah Stein-Lubrano on The Social Brain. Noticed yourself staying in more, or finding small talk harder lately? Sarah calls it social atrophy — and shares how, like a muscle, our social skills can be trained back into shape.

On 24 September, award-winning economist Cecilia Rikap launches her book Corporate Power in the Age of AI, asking who's really steering the AI revolution, and whether tech can still serve people and planet rather than corporate power. Expect sharp debate, not just a book talk.

New: hands-on workshops for campaigners and communicators

23 September — A Future Narratives Lab double-header offers narrative mapping for political strategy in the morning, creative storytelling in the attention age in the afternoon. Participants can join us for one or both of the sessions.

More events for campaigners and planned throughout this season as we explore how to move from ideas to action.

We're also expanding our conversations on peace, moral dilemmas and democracy with guest academics and authors — kicking off with AI — plus growing our Ideas to Action sessions, with a special focus on migration this season.

These sessions aren't for armchair intellectuals (much as we love you)— we design them for people to leave with a next step, a contact or two and a plan.

And back by popular demand, Behind the News stays in House. This is your regular sense-making news fix, chaired by seasoned journalist James Kanter (EUScream) and a rotating panel of insightful reporters cutting through the headlines to what's actually happening in Europe and beyond.

And everything you already know and love stays put

Eleonora's Book Club, live music, book launches, singles aperos, hangouts over drinks, and our beloved ceilidhs (Scottish dancing) with The Hoggies are all still very much on the schedule.

That's the magic of Full Circle, a genuinely eclectic programme: one night it's a serious debate on geopolitical threats, the next it's a room full of members cheerfully mangling Strip the Willow.

Come see it all for yourself — Season Launch: 11 September.
