I read some time ago – I think on this site – that the free Omnipas 65+ bus and tram pass for senior citizens would no longer be free from 1 Jan 2013.

I read in today’s Bulletin that over-65s (that’s me in 18 months, touch wood), will henceforth have to pay €60 per year for STIB passes.
There was a big car with somebody important driving on Rue de la Loi ten minutes ago, followed by half a dozen blinded black cars probably containing bag carriers and body guards. Who was that?

Any recommendations for good, value-for-money annual travel insurance policy for family of 3. Is is worth having for short-haul flights (4 or 5 times a year)?
