Prince Philippe back in California

Prince Philippe was Los Angeles mayor  Antonio Villaraigosa’s guest of honour  at a dinner held at the Getty House (pictured) last night, reports the Daily News. The 53-year-old heir to the Belgian throne is heading a group of about 400 business figures, most of them representing Belgian companies, visiting California to negotiate business contracts. Foreign minister Didier Reynders is also part of the trade mission. Philippe last visited California in 2003, but he's no stranger to the Golden State, having attended graduate school at Stanford, earning a master's in political science in 1985. He is also scheduled to make stops in San Francisco and San Diego.
