Pussy Jam Comedy proudly presents its blistering show Too Hot for Sauna at the Kamilou restaurant in the EU quarter on 30 October.

Performed by five comedians raised in Eastern Europe, the Brussels show is part of a FLINTA* stand-up comedy tour of Belgium, Germany and Luxembourg.

Whatever the chill outdoors, the rollcall of comedians promises to ramp up the temperature indoors.  Expect steamy confessions, sharp punchlines and stories that will make you blush. The fearless lineup mixes deadpan, sharp satire, crowd-work and warm-but-burning personal stories from childhood in Soviet blocks to modern misadventures in the West.

About the performers

Evil Sasha (@evil.sasha): Artist, activist & stand-up comedian from Minsk, based in Vilnius. Dark comedy + self-deprecating wit about life as a queer disabled woman. Therapy is expensive, but jokes are free.

Jana Levitina (@barcreature): Tallinn-based comic performing in English, Russian & Estonian. Rustonian, cat mom & ex-cult member. Punny, absurd, awkwardly brilliant.

Sandra Tiitson (@averagecatlady): Colourful hair, sharp eye for life’s oddities, and a cat that upstages her career. Turns depression & dating fails into big laughs.

Sille-Kadri Simer (@sillekadri): Comedy Barbie from Tallinn, Estonia. Deadpan, observant, insult queen. She’s one of a kind, collectible, but also slightly used. Glitter and burning insults included.

Tatiana Akopova (@takop_stories): Sharp & dry, with deadpan delivery. From therapy obsessions to cosmetic surgery risks, She blends wit, social critique & even surprise poems from time to time.

The show operates a ‘Pay what you can’ scheme, but comedians are hopeful that the audience will support their tour.

FLINTA* is a German abbreviation that stands for female, lesbians, intersex, non-binary, trans and agender people. The asterisk represents all non-binary gender identities. While our stage is reserved for FLINTA comedians, everyone is welcome in the audience!
