New pop-up gourmet restaurant to open on roof of Brussels Expo

10:57 06/03/2022

It promises to offer one of the most stunning views of the Belgian capital as well as a unique dining experience. Four-star Table 58 opens its doors on 15 March on the rooftop of Palace 5 of Brussels Expo in Laeken for a four-month period.

Occupying the eight floor of the Art Deco building and overlooking the landmark Atomium, the seasonal gastronomic restaurant is headed by two of Belgium’s Michelin star chefs, Lionel Rigolet (Comme Chez Soi) and Nick Bril (The Jane).

The culinary pair, working for the first time together, propose a first five-course menu between March and April, a second between May and June. The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner.

Each of them has signed off on their own dishes for the opening menu, a fusion of Belgian produce and global cuisine. There’s also a vegetarian menu.

The dining experience is a collaboration between Brussels Expo, Brussels Foodie and communications agency We Are C.
