Laptop with "important information" stolen out of Di Rupo’s car

11:31 21/08/2014

A thief broke into prime minister Elio Di Rupo's car on Monday, while he was at the gym. His driver was also not in the car at the time. The burglar smashed a side window to gain access to the boot of the car via the rear seats, stealing the outgoing prime minister’s laptop.

Shortly after the theft, Di Rupo (pictured) reported the incident to the police in Ixelles. He explained that the stolen laptop held "important information concerning domestic politics and the royal family". Exactly what that information might be, has not been disclosed.

In addition to the laptop, the thief also stole a briefcase containing "documents with important information about domestic politics," according to Di Rupo.

What a scatterbrain! Have a better security system fitted in your car , Di Rupo, for heavens sake; and not too many 'Top Security' documents where anybody can find them! - Unbelievable this!
