King Philippe Biography coming soon

10:46 23/08/2013

It was barely a month ago that he took the oath and there's already a biography of King Philippe set to come out in early September. Authors Barend Leyts, Brigitte Balfoort and Mark Van den Wijngaert reconstruct in the book how the Crown Prince worked his way up to the throne through trial and error, basing their argument on dozens of interviews. According to Linkeroever Publishers, King Philippe - The Biography reveals many new facts about the education, student and social life of the king, as well as his relationship with Mathilde, his political decisions and numerous economic trade missions. The biography will be officially presented on September 4 at Brussels' Bellevue Museum, with speeches by Count Michel Didisheim and former Prime Minister Wilfried Martens.
