Google Street View presents new Belgium Highlights tour

00:36 05/02/2016

Google Street View has created a new treat for virtual tourists with The Belgium Highlights tour, an overview of some of the country's most interesting sites.

The new Belgium Highlights tour gives online users a chance to look around Brussels' famous shopping arcade, the Galeries Royales Saint-Hubert, soak up the atmosphere on the Grand Place or admire the cathedral in Antwerp.

The office of prime minister Charles Michel is also on view, as are the popular Belgian amusement parks Plopsaland and Bobbejaanland and more attractions, such as the Atomium, Ghent's Castle of the Counts, Bruges' canals (pictured) and the Lion of Waterloo.

In the future, Google will also add the town hall of Leuven and the Caves of Han.
