Ethiopian coffee house opens in Saint-Hubert galleries

13:11 25/07/2017

The Royal Galleries of Saint-Hubert, not far from the Grand Place, are now home to a second Aksum Coffee House location, reports Bruzz. The Ethiopian coffee shop opened its doors on Sunday in the chic shopping arcade. It is the second Aksum branch in Brussels.

The coffee house, named after a city in northern Ethiopia, imports and pours coffee from the horn of Africa. In addition to African fairtrade coffee, Aksum imports other products from Ethiopia and the rest of Africa, such as herbal tea from Senegal, soda from the Ivory Coast, wine from South Africa and beer from Ethiopia.

The original coffee house moved at the beginning of this year from Rue des Éperonniers to a larger building in Rue des Chapeliers. The new establishment in the galleries is open daily from 8.00 to 22.00.
