Brussels in the Sky food festival returns

10:14 09/04/2014

The restaurant concept Brussels in the Sky is returning to the capital. Fans of food in high places can enjoy meals prepared by Belgium’s top chefs at fifty metres above the ground from June 2 to June 29 in the Cinquantenaire park/Jubelpark, Brussels.

The original ‘flying restaurant’ concept Dinner in the Sky took off in Belgium seven years ago. It proved so popular abroad that last year it was decided to launch the first edition of Brussels in the Sky to remind everyone of the culinary delights of the city where the concept was first tried out.

During the gourmet festival seven Brussels star chefs will be on hand to prepare and serve a five-course lunch and 2 dinners for 22 guests. A place in the flying restaurant costs €250.

The seven chefs are Yves Mattagne (Sea Grill ** ), Lionel Rigolet (Comme chez Soi ** ), Pascal Devalkeneer (Chalet de la Forêt ** ), David Martin ( La Paix * ), Giovanni Bruno ( Senzanome * ), Bart De Pooter (Wy * ) and Luigi Ciciriello (La Truffe Noire * ).
