Brussels museums: Late opening season from 12 March to 23 April

Brussels Museums Nocturnes
17:54 12/02/2026

More than 40 museums across Brussels are getting ready to stage the 26th edition of the Nocturnes, a series of late openings from 12 March to 23 April.

Some seven cultural institutions will stay open late on Thursday evenings for the duration of the event, hosting a special programme of activities.

In addition to guided tours, behind-the-scenes visits and extra muros activities, a‘special’ event is organised each week, such as a tasting, a dance workshop, a games night or an extra late opening, say organisers.

Among other highlights are a flashlight tour, a tasting of aphrodisiacs, medieval dance, a guided tour focusing on ‘invisible’ women artists and bread baking in the garden of Felix de Boeck.

Open Museum, the Brussels Museums initiative of inclusion and accessibility, once again offers a series of inclusive activities, including a guided tour on the theme of feminism.

The full programme and ticket sales are available online from 19 February.
