Brussels’ gourmet Tram Experience resumes service on 28 August

18:32 24/08/2026

Belgian gastronomy is once again honoured in the Tram Experience’s new season launching in the capital from 28 August.

The city’s tramway restaurant, run by tourist office Visit.brussels, invites gourmet diners on a culinary journey created by leading names in Belgian gastronomy.

First up is Gault & Millau’s Brussels’ Young Chef of the Year 2026, David-Alexandre Bruno, from the Quartz restaurant in Ixelles. Renowned for a cuisine combining technical precision and elegance, he has devised the menu that is served on board until 11 October.

During December and January, Michelin-star Comme Chez Soi takes the helm to celebrate its 100th anniversary. Pierre Wynants joins forces with his son-in-law and current chef, Lionel Rigolet, and grandson and future chef, Loïc Rigolet, to create a unique festive menu.

Other star chefs follow, including Olly Ceulenaere from the Ghent Michelin-star restaurant Publiek from 2 February to 21 March, and Ricarda Grommes, from Michelin-star Quadras in Saint-Vith from 23 March to 9 May.

One new feature of the gourmet experience this season is the possibility for large groups to reserve the entire tram for a lunchtime four-course set menu. This is in addition to the evening menu that includes six or seven courses.

Each year, the Tram Experience serves approximately 8,500 meals.
