Brusselicious label awarded to Les Brigittines
Les Brigittines has been named the "Brusselicious" restaurant of the year for 2024.
Visit.brussels awards the prestigious designation annually to the Brussels establishment that has best promoted Belgian cuisine at national and international level.
“This label, created by visit.brussels, gathers together the Brussels restaurants that offer quality Belgian cuisine,” the organisation said.
“To ensure you get the best possible culinary experience, the selection was made by a panel of experts. More than 30 establishments guarantee you a high-quality, authentic Belgian gastronomic experience.”
“For years, chef Dirk Myny has succeeded in creating a personal and authentic interpretation of Belgian cuisine.
“He has made Les Brigittines a landmark of Belgian and Brussels gastronomy – notably with his famous 'zennepot' – by combining tradition and creativity in a warm and authentic setting.”
Chef Myny works with local Brussels products to serve traditional Belgian dishes. The 'zennepot' is made from pig's feet and vol-au-vent.
“We sometimes forget how delicious our own classics really are,” Myny told Bruzz.
“The nostalgia of them brings pleasure to customers. In turn, I am immensely pleased with this recognition.”
