600 march in Brussels in support of refugees

07:00 16/09/2015

An estimated 600 people demonstrated in Brussels on Monday under the slogan "Welcome Refugees", to express their support for all refugees in Europe. Among the participants were 200 refugees from the tent camp in Brussels' Maximilian Park, according to a local police report, writes brusselnieuws.be.

The action, an initiative of the Brussels civic platform in support of refugees, took place on Monday evening during the EU refugee crisis summit. The meeting ended in the EU member states approving the European Commission's proposal to take on an additional 40,000 refugees entering Europe via Greece and Italy. Meanwhile, negotiations around the distribution of 120,000 additional refugees continue.

While the march was peaceful and there were no incidents reported, the participants used the opportunity to accuse the Belgian government of doing too little for the refugees, according to brusselnieuws.be.

COFFIN SHIPS, A NEW IRON CURTAIN,TEAR GAS AND WATER CANNON.

How ironic that Hungary, one of the first East Bloc Countries to open its Border to the West, is now rebuilding the Iron Curtain, tear-gassing refugees and using water cannon against children.

Meanwhile our "leaders" fiddle while the Middle East burns and the Mediterranean Sea becomes a cemetery.

@FPAT1946. The Hungarian police used tear gas and water cannons against "refugees" throwing bottles and stones at them to protest the fact the border is blocked. These refugees/migrants/?? constantly show they have no problem putting their children on the front line instead of making sure they are out of harm's way. And some of the 'children' were probably of stone and bottle-throwing age. From pictures I've seen in the media, most of the people attacking the police were anything but children.

" constantly show....?

These are the first riots I have seen on this issue.

Hungarian police had no need to gas anyone, especially children. The Hungarian authorities should be ashamed of themselves

And our "leaders" should hang their heads...
