225 additional soldiers summoned to Brussels
An additional 225 members of the Belgian military have been called in to the capital to provide reinforcement to the troops in Brussels following this morning's terrorist attacks, writes De Standaard in a report confirmed by interior minister Jan Jambon.
The additional agents bring the total number of military in the city to about 1,000. Peter De Waele, spokesman for the federal police, is also calling on soldiers who are currently on leave to return to duty as the terror threat level in the city has been raised to four, the highest level.
"The attacks in Brussels are a disaster, and it is primarily the government's task to reassure the people,” says a spokesman for Jambon in the newspaper. "The 225 additional troops were brought in to Brussels in response to the increased terror threat.”

Yea, that will stop a suicide bomber, not.
So any suggestion for stopping a suicide bomber?
Any deterrent is better than none.
On a lighter note with 225 more soldiers in Brussels, they'll be more soldiers than people in the streets!, since most folks are downright nervous about being downtown and avoid it if they can.
