20km of Brussels nearly full

Three-quarters of the participants of this year’s 20km of Brussels running race have already registered, reports brusselnieuws.be. Almost immediately after registration started, some 30,000 runners signed up. In total, 40,000 people are allowed to participate in the race.
The 20km of Brussels, with its start at Cinquantenaire, is a popular sporting event in the capital, drawing thousands of runners and spectators to the centre of Brussels every year.
The remaining 10,000 spots are expected to go quickly, but runners can still register via the website or at the offices in Rue de la Chapelle.
The 20km of Brussels takes place this year on 31 May.
