Work - any work (manual labour, driving, admin etc)

Question

Recently arrived in Belgium (Brussels) and whilst I look for permanent employment, I cannot just be sitting around. If you need or know of anybody who needs assistance with work( anything from cleaning to driving to manual labour) I would appreciate the info. Thnx!

If you know of a company recruiting account managers, operations staff (finance field) or training facilitators, that would also help. Language is limited to English and basic Dutch.

Hi gdetroch,
get your CV ready (in English and in Dutch, proof-read by spouse/neighbor/friend) and show up at all major interim employment agencies as a start into the Belgian job market.
They are around Avenue Louise between Place Stephanie and Bailli, and much more downtown around Place De Brouckere / Bd. Anspach. Some are agencies specialized in your finance / admin field, others (e.g. Manpower) in manual labor.
Re to driving - do you have the (Belgian) permission re to truck / taxi driving?

Good luck, xl

Sorry not sure how I'm sure another person on this forum can point you where to get that. Also people to people have kind of job club for English speakers might be worth a visit. http://www.meetup.com/socialNIB/
