Woodworm

Question
daisy1960

We had the same problem but the woodworm was limited to one part of the dining room. The whole floor was treated and not only that but as the dining room was over the cellar the ceiling of the cellar had to be removed so the wooden floor could be treated also from underneath. We then had a new floor placed on the old one. I don't know the name of the product but it was like a reddish liquid paint which was painted over all the floorboards on top and underneath. If I find the name of the product I'll post a msg. To check if the woodworm are still active check under the floorboard for a powdery sawdust. Good luck and before you move in or start any work check all the wood in the house, poke it with your finger.
