'Woman in yellow' speaks out on CNN

One photo made Nidhi Chaphekar the symbol of despair of the 22 March terror attack at Brussels Airport. The 42-year-old 'woman in yellow' made headlines around the world for the photo of her seated on a bench, wounded and in shock immediately following the attack, clothes tattered and completely covered in dust.

It's the same image that also reached her 11-year-old daughter and 14-year-old son in Mumbai. It gave them reassurance to know that their mother was alive. Now, more than four months later, the Jet Airways flight attendant has given a long and emotional interview on CNN News 18.

Chaphekar's message? “I can't forgive the terrorists, but help reform them. Revenge is not the answer, love must be taught,” she told the news channel.
