Widows/widowers support group in Brussels?

Question

I have lost my husband last year and subsequently moved back to Belgium. I have been looking for a support network of any kind for widows and widowers withing the Brussels region but I have had no luck so far.

Does anybody know of such a support group?
I'd appreciate any kind on info on the matter.

I am a widower living in Flanders.
As soon as my wife was classed as being in palliative care I was allocated a social worker by my mutuelle, given various grants and benefits by them and contacted by a local volunteer palliative care network.
These gave me huge support in the last weeks of her life and in the short-term aftermath of her death; I have no doubt that, if I contacted them again, they would help me in any way that they could. However, I have never heard of a more general/informal group such as I imagine that you are looking for and I am reasonably confident that it would have been mentioned if such a group existed in my area.
I understand that PANAL (Palliatief Network Arrondissement Leuven) has links to similar organisations throughout the country and I'm sure that, if you contact them on 016/23.91.01, they will be able to help you with a contact name in the Bxl area.
You could also contact your mutuelle to see if they have social workers who might advise you.
Courage and I hope all goes well for you.
