White card validity

To my knowledge, as soon as you stay registered with your commune during your absence that should not be a problem. The periods up to 6 months of absence are not considered as 'absence'. But be sure that your ID does not expire in the period when you are outside of Belgium, otherwise you might have problems re-entering the country.
