what does "Bouquet" mean for property?
It refers to a property purchase "en viager" where you purchase a property at a substantially discounted price, however the seller can not only continue to live in the property until they die but you have to provide them with a monthly income in the interim. In effect you take a punt on how long the seller will remain alive.
This article https://www.ausud.com/france/buying-a-home-en-viager/ explains the system in France, but it is all but identical in Belgium.
Not for the faint-hearted!
It does not have to be till the death of the seller: you can agree to a fixed period, say 15 years.
