Hello, has anyone tested water quality in Brussels. We have old pipes and I would like to be sure if water sourced to kitchen is free of lead, other particles. We already installed a water softener and I am currently asking them but before they provided only a test kit for water hardness.
I received basic test kit from amazon and as expected I see that our water is free of iron, copper, lead and nitrate. i see that its hard and quiet alkaline. pH seems to be 9. I will try to do the test few more times.
Solid particles is never visible in our tap but just accumulates in the faucet filter. I believe such pieces pose no health risk.
@anon you are right and bottled plastics is another reason to stay away. their prices should become much more expensive for people to switch to tap.
