water Bill
Hello, I have a question about calculation of water prices. I wonder how they calculate the cost of water. I know that there are 3 categories, for instance, if you use more than 30 m3, you have to pay more. However, I don't know if you use more than 30 m3, whether the new price would apply to whole consumption or only the difference between 30 m3 and your current consumption.
My water bill arrived today!
I've just checked the tariffs on my supplier's website and there is nothing to suggest that there is any difference in the price if I use more or less than 30m³. However, there are price differences between different communes.
I would suggest that you look at the website of your supplier and see what you can learn there.
You don't say where you are in Belgium, however, assuming you are in Brussels, there are actually four tariffs.
These are progressive, i.e. on the first 15m3 you get charged one rate, on the next 15m3, a higher rate, and so on.
It is all set out on their website.
