Question

Any ideas for the best way to visit paris in a day arriving and leaving on the thalys? Can you suggested a hop on or hop of bus or should we take a taxi or metro to the main sights? Thanks for any advice

It depends on your budget and whether you want to make the choice of what to see. I'd personally take the metro option as it's the quickest way to move around. MOBILIS ticket is the cheapest option for adults, for children Mon-Fri PARIS VISITE is cheapest, for children Sat-Sun ticket JEUNES WEEK-END is cheapest. For biggies like the Louvre or Musée d'Orsay, I'd be booking tickets in advance. Note these museums are free certain days in the month.
