Visa for India

Hi I knew someone did it said it's more complicated for UK passport holders than other eu citizens here, it also much more expensive. I understand that the passport has to be sent to UK. I'm not sure if they do it from the embassy here or you do, but certainly very annoying considering UK and India in commonwealth and rest of Europe not and yet UK government policy to curb terrorism means that it's more complex and costly for their citizen to get a visa go figure?

I have a mauritian passport, i applied for my visa in march and it took less than 6 days to get it back. No hassles, very easy. The people at VFS global are very helpful.
