400 of Brussels' best restaurants in your pocket - delivered in 30 minutes, with a special discount for Bulletin readers

Brussels is a foodie paradise - a melting pot of world cuisine. The good news is you can now order from 400 of the best restaurants in town using just your smartphone, and have a tasty meal delivered to your doorstep in just 30 minutes.

The Bulletin has teamed up with UberEATS to help expats in Brussels discover some of the best food the city has to offer, from the comfort or your own home or office.

"Food is something that people are passionate about," says Charles Van Haverbeke at UberEATS Belgium. "It's something that brings people together and bringing people together is one of our core values."

After downloading the free app, you can browse through all the restaurants that deliver to your area or search by the type of food you fancy. Choose your dishes and, half an hour later, a courier arrives at your door and dinner is served.

Partner restaurants have been individually selected by UberEATS representatives and they receive constant feedback. "We target quality and diversity - we don't discriminate any type of food," says Van Haverbeke. "40,000 people in Brussels have downloaded the app and we want to offer everyone the widest variety in food options."

And with 180 nationalities living in Brussels, it's no surprise that the UberEATS app in Brussels has a very international offering: everything from Portuguese to Vietnamese – not forgetting good old traditional Belgian cuisine.

After launching in 60 cities worldwide, why Brussels? "Brussels has a huge variety of restaurants with an important food culture. With tens of thousands of people here already pushing a button to get an affordable ride, this has been a natural progression for us," says Van Haverbeke. "Thanks to UberEATS people in Brussels are now able to access affordable and quality food from local restaurants via the app.”

And it's not just food. Beers and snacks can now also be delivered thanks to a collaboration between UberEATS and the convenience store White Night.

Feeling peckish? UberEATS is offering a special discount to Bulletin readers on your first three orders. Download the free app now from Apple or the Google Play Store and use the discount code THEBULLETIN at the checkout.

This sounded interesting so I looked on-line to see the details. I went to the Brussels www site. But before they allow any info at all to be seen, I have to enter my address. Thanks but no thanks,
