using trains in Brussels limits

Question

Is my normal STIB ticket (single use) valid within one hour within train stations of Delta, Boondael or Vivier D'oie? i am aware that there are tickets which covers the train network also but I mean only within the Brux city limits, is a STIB ticket sufficient? I get this idea from this: For ex there used to be old type of metro ticket machines in Merode train station. This machines must be used for train journeys also. I appreciate your answers. Thanks a lot.

This € 2,10 (or € 2,50 purchased from a bus or tram driver) ticket is valid only on the STIB network (other than to/from the airport), it isn't valid on Delijn or TEC buses nor on trains.

The JUMP 1 VOYAGE ticket loaded on a MOBIB or MOBIB Basic card at a cost of € 2,10 is however valid also on DeLijn and TEC buses and on trains (but only within the MTB boundaries).

Both tickets are valid for one hour from first validation.

Basically the MTB limits are the boundaries of the Brussels-Capital-Region (although STIB tickets are valid on all STIB services within and without the actual Region with the sole exception of the route to the airport which has special arrangements).

The all-systems map on the STIB website clearly marks which SNCB/NMBS stations fall within the limits and also marks the boundary stops for TEC and DeLijn services..
