Two weeks of tram disruption as Tervuren trees are chopped down

20:00 13/11/2017

Tram services to Tervuren will be disrupted for the next two weeks due to the urgent cutting down of trees on the picturesque line 44 - but rush-hour commuters should be unaffected.

Several trees on the Avenue de Tervuren need to be felled as they present a safety risk to passing trams.

Buses will replace trams on weekdays from 9.00 to 15.30 between Auderghem-Forêt and Tervuren Station. On Saturdays, replacement buses will run between Quatre-Bras and Tervuren Station from 8.30 to 16.00.

Services will run normally this Sunday - and the route should return to its normal full service from Sunday 26 November.
