Here is a brilliant trio of Irish and Celtic music!

Julien Biget, guitarist, singer and bouzouki player, came to the attention of Gabriel Yacoub in his late teens. He is part of Sylvie Berger’s trio, accompanies the Breton flutist Jean-Michel Veillon, and plays with a number of different bands from the North of France. Gerry Murray is originally from Monaghan. In Belgium, he is known as the accordionist of the Belgian-Irish group Shantalla. The violinist Rudy Velghe is known from Orion, but has also played in the House of Hidden Music, Urban Trad, Cadans der Getouwen, Branra, Dao Dezi… He has also played with Donal Lunny, Philip Catherine, Serge & Pat Desauney, Jamie McMenemy, Soig Siberil, Gilles Le Bigot, Nicolas Quemener, John Faulkner, Johnny ‘Ringo’ McDonagh, Conor McCarthy, Dermot Byrne…

Together they form a dazzling ensemble of Irish and Celtic music!

The concert will be streamed via Muziekpublique’s YouTube channel and via Facebook.
