travel from France to Belgium

hey, did anybody of you make the trip from France to Belgium by car, what is with the border, dose police stop French numbers auto, do you take a test before travelling, did you ever was stopped at the streets of Brussels-Gent-Ieper and ask to show covid test (I will do it, but still wondering).
What if you non-EU citizen with valid work and residence right in France (I know that I have a right to visit Schengen area countries, just wondering how covid affect the movement of people)
