I need to find out how to translate the term: eidesstattliche Erklärung and hiermit erkläre ich an Eides statt into French and NL and what would be the equivalent in Belgium. Is it used the same way as in Germany? Google translator was not much help. Thanks!

eidesstattliche Erklärung = affidavit (E) = attestation sous serment (F) = beëdigde verklaring (NL). Doublecheck on translation sites other than Google's. I think the Flemish also use attest or attestatie.
