Belgium
14:18 06/12/2012
Expect major traffic problems in the city centre this afternoon from midday until 20.00 as students take to the streets to celebrate children’s patron Saint-Nicolas/Sinterklaas. The annual parade will leave at 13.00 from Nouveau Marché aux Grains before passing through Boulevard Anspach and the Bourse before finishing in Place de Jeu de Balle. Around 1,500 students from Brussels university faculties and the Catholic University of Louvain-la-Neuve will be taking part. Police have warned motorists to expect major disruption in the city centre.
