Does a cake taste better when you know it’s raising money for a good cause? Test out the theory on 27 March when the British Chamber of Commerce stages the final of the fourth edition of its popular bake off. A total of 17 teams are baking up a storm to help a local cause.

A team of topflight chefs will judge the bakes which have been divided into four categories: male super-heroes, female super-heroes, male super-villain, and female super-villain. The competition is raising funds for the Community Help Service in Brussels. Members of the public are invited to join in the tasting and donate €5 to the charity.

The judging panel includes: David Martin (La Paix), Alexandre Dionisio (Villa in the Sky), Giovanni Bruno (Senzanome), Salem Sassi (Maison Dandoy), Patrick Aubrion (Antoine Sweets), Nicolas De Cloedt (Humus Botanical Gastronomy), Kenny Bernaerts (Studio Bern), Yannick Van Aeken (Humphrey Restaurant), Pierre Balthazar (The Restaurant), Anaïs Gaudemer (Cokoa), Alex Joseph (Rouge Tomate).
