There are a few good thrift stores in Brussels, but most of them are a bit hidden. For clothes I would go to Les Enfants d'Edouard on Avenue Louise - http://best-of-brussels.com/2011/10/04/designer-duds-for-less/. For household items, the best place is Troc International - http://www.troc.com/en/
