Is there some way to know if a potential employer is "Hire and fire"? If I can be diirect?

Question

Often you can do positions advertised as employee as a freelance.
Is it some way to know beforehand for a specific company (Especially
"end clients")?

Also, is it some way to know if an employer or "end client" is hire & fire -meaning taking on people "long term", but actually treat the first part as a trial period?

anon

Not exactly sure what you're asking, but as a simple statement of fact;
All jobs in Belgium start with a trail period.

You cannot consult or do freelance for one client. That would be seen as an illegal way of avoiding giving you a proper contract and carries heavy penalties. Freelance workers must register as “independents” and pay social security accordingly.
6 month trial period for an employee is normal. If you don’t come up to expected standards, you’ll be out the door at the end of the day.
