Is there an ombudsman for problems with Bpost?
Bpost has simply stopped delivering packages, in my Brussels commune at least. They conveniently lose them and no one can find them. A package sent from an online pharmacy in Belgium, packages sent by Amazon.de. All lost and no one knows or cares where they are. Bpost actually told the Belgian pharmacy that 'they haven't had a scanner for over 10 days'. And no one knows where the package is.
Is there anywhere to complain about the broken down/non-existant service of this monopoly postal "service"?
You can even complain in English!!
You need to be sure that the fault lies with BPost.
The majority of parcels ordered online are NOT handled by BPost and anyway the fault with Amazon might lie in Germany.
I would just report to Amazon that I have not receive the package and let Amazon handles the case to, perhaps, refund or force the seller to resend it anyway. Indeed, there would be some days for the case to be validated. But I would not even care about BPost if I were not the sender ;)
Do not try to complain to Bpost , utterly useless ,
both delivery AND customer service
try paying with pay pal and have them sort it out.
