Texan lawyer receives top Belgian honour for promoting cultural exchanges

San Antonio lawyer Robert Braubach recently received the Chevalier De L'Ordre De Léopold award from the Consul General of Belgium in New York, the San Antonio Express-News’  David Hendricks writes. Braubach received the award for his service as honorary consul of Belgium for South Texas and his numerous trips to promote trade, investment, culture and sports between Belgium and Texas. The award is one of three Belgian national honorary orders of knighthood. Braubach is a graduate of the Free University of Brussels. The award will be presented formally by the Belgian government in San Antonio later this year, Braubach said.
